Callaghan Lake

Callaghan Lake is hands down the best snowshoeing place near Vancouver. It’s remote, has beautiful views and wildlife. Dogs can even go off leash! The lake was frozen over and had at least five feet of snow on top. We had our lunch, then headed back to Olympic Park Day Lodge to warm up with some hot chocolate. The sunset pictures of Howe Sound were from out the car window when driving down the Sea-to-Sky Highway back home after the long day.
