Whale Watching (2021)
As part of our Vancouver Island trip, my family and I went whale watching. Let me tell you, there’s a big difference going whale watching in Campbell River to whale watching out of Granville Island. We spent six hours on the water and, in that time, we:
- Had a pod of dolphins swim beside us
- Saw a sea lion having lunch right before our lunch time
- Saw a humpback whale with her calf
- Almost got stuck in a whirlpool
- Saw bald eagles, seals, and beautiful mountain and water views
Jos, our tour guide from Eagle Eye Adventures, was an amazing guide both knowledgeable about the waters and nature and a very good photographer. We’ve gone back to Campbell River in 2023 and had an even better time.
